Update on Robocop
I called Robocop last Wednesday or Thursday, so I have some knowledge of his activities.
1) He is still friendless. He tells me that he knows some of his classmates, but the thought of hanging out with them outside of school never crosses his mind. Robocop spends most of his days working. This makes me wonder if he has met up with Jessica at SCU yet. I would bet against it considering the fact that SCU is 20 minutes away and not next door.
2) Robocop has picked up an internship at some charity organization that rebuilds homes destroyed by the IDF. The head of the organization is an MIT alumni and that is pretty much the only reason he got the internship. Damn private school connections. The jury is still out over whether the organization Robocop interns for is secretly funding terrorism like a host of other Arab charities.
3) Through his internship, he has also picked up a side internship with a lawyer connected to the charity organization. When I talked to Robocop, he said he was preparing questions for a summit in Washington D.C. which sounded pretty interesting to me.
4) Robocop is still taking classes at SJSU and picked up a class at De Anza too.
And that is all I remember from my phone conversation.
Robocop please fill in the LARGE gaps to your whereabouts.

Dear Robocop,
What the fuck!
Before the school year started, we made a pact to update the blog as often as we could – at least two times a week. Even when things got rough in our lives and time got scrunched, a post on the weekend would have been enough. Wait, hold on – you know what? It would have even been nice to see a post every once in a while that told us how you were doing. Even something like this would have been acceptable, because then at least I would have known you were still breathing and not strapped to a hospital bed in a vegetative state. THAT would have actually been a good excuse for breaking your promise.
The last legit post you’ve written was in September. Do you know what month it is now? November. That’s right bitch, Daylight Savings Time is OVER now, whatup?! Next thing you know we’ll be carving turkeys for Thanksgiving and shopping on Black Friday. Then it’ll be December for which I’ll be able to come home and kick your ass.

So Robocop, can you robo yourself to your computer and let us know how you’re doing? You barely use Facebook or texting and you never use AIM or your phone (for someone named after Robocop, you should be on top of the whole tech thing). Everyone wants to know how you’re doing – whether or not you’ve found yourself, how you’re spending the rest of your gap year, or any event, just SOMETHING to give us a heads up.
I hope you take this to heart and start posting, period.

Halloween in NYC
While Dontscuffmyshoes studied for midterms, Muffinman baked pumpkin bread, and Robocop did who knows what the fuck he does because he doesn’t blog, I was partying THIS SHIT OUT IN NYC!!!! (Did people forget it was fucking Halloween? Oh well, your loss)
All of NYC comes out at night to party it up on the streets. Some of the costumes are crazy, some original, and some downright ridiculous. As usual, many girls took advantage of this night to slut up their outfit and not be called a ho. My friends and I got ready to join the festivities outside and dressed up in our respective costumes
We went outside to join everybody in the drizzle and the Empire State Building was lit a nice orange-black to commemorate the occasion.
Every year, NYC has a parade that goes up 6th Ave filled with marching bands, DJs playing bass-thumping music, floats with people dancing to the music, and thousands of people marching, proudly displaying their costume.
Does this beat out UCSB?
We wanted to hop the cop fence and join the parade but we were standing at the end of the line and the parade was almost over so we decided to just watch what was left of it.
Guys on stilts
After we got tired of the parade we headed back to our dorm and partied it up with everyone else.
I think I party-hopped three times that whole night and got massively drunk. I ended up taking a walk in especially crazy NYC for several blocks by myself and somehow got home safe and sound.
Also, note to self: don't do straight shots of Bacardi 151
